Tears of joy flow from my eyes uncontrollably as i read about your great achievement ..... Theme muisc from "Chariots of Fire" seem to be wafting through the air and i can almost imagine the fireworks in the Singapore skyline as the whole nation celebrates this momentous occasion ... I believe that the Nobel committee would be contacting you shortly .... *grin*
sorry tat i couldn't share in ur joy much sooner but i was watching the Turin Wnter Oympics' curling event where grown men and women were sliding over-sized granite pebbles down the ice trying to knock off the other teams' pebbles ... yup, i was tat bored and there was nothing else on the telly .... still trying to figure out why would anybody play tis sport ...
(p.s. anybody caught the barcelona vs chelsea match ... scrappy 1st half but an absolutely scintillating second half ... and on a sadder note, former DPM and one of the original old guard of the PAP, S. Rajaratnam passed away yesterday ... )
