Why you should stay in a hostel

Then (i.e. when I was in high school, before starting undergrad):
I wouldn't enter a room if it had a cockroach inside

Now:
Cockroaches freely ran past me - they don't bother me, I don't bother them.

Then:
I'd run to the nearest chair or table to climb on it for safety if I saw a lizard.

Now:
I calmly watch it run away as I stomp my foot to 'frighten' it.

Then:
I'd call my grandmother to chase out the bug in the room.

Now:
I'm an expert in chasing bugs and moths out of my hostel room.

Talk about the things you learn living in a hostel!

P.S: Idhaiye saaka vecchu evalo peru treat kepeenga-nu enakku theriyum - idellam over ba!

    Then:
Without bed coffee I won't wake up.
    Now:
Without coffee I will finish my day.

    Then:
I will afraid to go out after 10 pm
    Now:
My day starts at 11 pm.

    Then:
If some one scold / tease me, I won’t sleep whole night.
    Now:
I won’t care about any body.

    Then:
I won’t take water before brush my teeth.
    Now:
I won’t care about brushing my tooth even for breakfast

    Then:
I never every speak any good words ()
    Now
I will speak all national and international language good word  

Trying hard to visualise you subscribing to the age old nugget of wisdom,"When in Rome, do as the Romans do" - would you actually be cooking a stew of roaches, lizards and bugs............????

  10. A friend of mine studied in a hostel where the 6 feet long sink (before which he brushed his teeth daily) was covered with a thick 2 cm layer of algae.

After 4 years, nothing in the world could get him to puke!

  12. Lol. After becoming a mother I've learnt how to protect my children from those creepy crawlies.. but way before that, I'd hide in my room till that "thing" flies/runs away.

I'd tolerate any kind.. but not the COCKROACH! They are fast moving and they can FLY! Ugh, I'm feeling wriggly all over my body already.
