So what now?!

A week of so much work, I can’t believe it. Last week was our recess, and it’s really sad when I realise it’s over even before I realised it had begun. And here I am, on the Sunday of what I expect to be a terrifying week, wondering what to do despite the work that has been loaded up, with presentations, mid term exams, et al.
What takes my disgust to its peak is the fan in my room…within a week it has seemed to have become miraculously slow! Damn you, you crazy fan….it’s surprising that less than a week ago it was perfect, and now it’s going at a speed which seriously makes me doubt if it’s sort of getting unscrewed from the ceiling – actually it’s even moving in a very minute pendulum-like fashion. Thank God, my bed is in the corner of the room, and not directly below the fan.
So bored now that I watched Roja for the umpteenth time, and recorded bits of background music from it. :) Mani Ratnam couldn’t have made a better movie – my all-time favourite it is. To add to the precious mix of Rahman’s music, Mani’s direction, Sivan’s cinematography is the handsome man called Aravind Swamy. Wonder why God makes such handsome men as him, Madhavan, Tom Cruise, Keanu Reeves and Siddharth. Maybe just to compensate for every woman who’s born.
Tried my hand at minesweeper again. I have come back to being a little better than hopeless at the game. :( Unfair!
Have nothing better to do now, so I’m going back to Roja. Vetti post, vetti talk. Vettiness galore!

Aravind Swamy, Madhavan, Tom Cruise, Keanu Reeves... my turn to say, "stop drooling at married men :P :P"
abt the fan.. you stand below the fan, face up, and start spinning in the opposite direction. it actually works, the fan rotates faster..try it!

//Wonder why God makes such handsome men as him, Madhavan, Tom Cruise, Keanu Reeves and Siddharth

madhavan = well can't really say anything bad about him since i sorta enjoy his movies .... esp in minnale ...

tom cruise = shorty and hyper-active scientologist freak ... still remember seeing him jumping about on the coach on a operah winfrey show .... ( dun ask me wat i was doing watching an operah show ... *grin* )

keanu reaves = does the fella got any other expressions other than tat dead-pan expression .... well suited to play a cyborg or a stupid ass ( remember bill & ted's excellent adventure .... he did a A1 job .... )

siddarth = maybe it's juz me but that guy juz annoys me with tat crappy acting and wat's with him trying to be cutesy ....

(p.s. i juz remembered an urban legend where a person was decapitated by a fan .... anyway sweet dreams ... *wink* )

sorta a continuance of ur last post .... u were talking about R.K rite .... still remember enjoying the Malgudi Days series on the telly but unfortunately never got the chance to read any of his books in print .... maybe i should pick up a copy from the library ... have u ever tried P.G Wodehouse .... i juz love his books ... his writings sorta have a dream like quality to it and did i mention absolutely humourous ... and how about James Herriot ... absolutely fascinating stories about his life as a country vet in the early 1900 in the yorkshire region ....

dante,
Madhavan, Siddarth, Arvind Swamy sure do know acting!! I can probably agree with you about Cruise...I'd say Reeves also acts well to a certain extent!!
And about the books, read a couple of PG Wodehouse books...and read all of Herriot...oh I love Herriot's stories!!! He's awesome!! I love the character Tristan, Siegfried's brother....Glad to find another person who likes his books! :)

vijay r,
cha, kozhuppa?! :D

Anonymous said...

same here ... read all of james herriot's books ... loved every single one of them .... absolutely adore Siegfried's character .... a-typical english country gentleman .... remember the part where tristan pretends to be a ghostly monk and how his ploy was almost discovered by the local constable .... *grin* ... everytime i read tat, i can't help but laugh till i get stitches ....
