Life is beautiful….

It is, when....
**A cool breeze swept over my face and blew my tresses backward
**A vanilla cone ice cream was in my hand when the slight drizzle was accompanied by a heavenly, pleasant breeze.
**The time for a much-awaited break is just a week away!!!
**I feel highly optimistic even when the workload looks just terrible, bogging me down
**I stayed awake for 24 ½ hours at a stretch – a feat I never thought I’d be capable of. I survived through some gruelling hours, and I’m delighted!
**As I returned from my day-long-awake feat, the sun was slowly coming up and painted the faint blue sky with streaks of bright orange…
**Music, Rahman’s at that, playing all day, never failing to cheer me up
**Technology had improved so much ;) that I was able to access my desktop in my room from elsewhere, and it kept me engaged with music, when I was having difficulty staying awake.
**Tiny, little things make me jump with joy or laugh to near-death!
**I could fall asleep almost as soon as I went to bed in my dear, ol’ room, with my greatly huggable pillow and pink dolly Pisa by my side. :) (Don’t smile, hey!)
**Life’s at its resplendent best!!!!

(Just realised that my last post was also on 11th Feb, not 10th : aww! Two posts on one day!)

Tresses, huh ..... do i sense a whiff of classical romatic literature ??

//A vanilla cone ice cream was in my hand when the slight drizzle was accompanied by a heavenly, pleasant breeze

Change the vanilla cone to a chocolate cone covered with hot fudge and crushed peanuts and the slight drizzle to a thunderstorm with spectacular lightning bolts and u would have my version of a beautiful day .... u gotta see the city when the skies are all grey and the occasional flash lights up the rainy evening sky .... juz love grey and dreary days ...

i know wat u mean .... seeing the rays of the early morning sun painting the dawn sky a vivid orange always brightens my mood after a sleepless night ... *grin*

//**Tiny, little things make me jump with joy or laugh to near-death

u know there is a hundred ways i could make fun of this comment but since most of them with be rated artistic (Read R(A)...), i better not mention any of them ... *wink*

Hmm, quite so, I love mornings!!!
And your version of a beautiful day is so opposite mine! I so hate rainy days...and in Singapore, detest them!!! :|
Adapavi, no R(A) comments allowed in my blog! ;) This blog is being read by a no. of important people and I'd rather some things are hushed up!! :P

now that's a priceless gift ... a gift whose true worth is only realised by those who have many a sleepless nights. Tossing and turning on the bed waiting for sleep to overcome us as we start to panic realising that each passing hour means that the time to wake up is near and thus caught in a vicious cycle. And as the tendrils of dawn creep across the sky, finally forsaking our futile attempts at slumber and instead peering through the window at a still-dark city whose inhabitants lay asleep under the warm, comforting embrace of the silent night ..... That's when u realise how priceless a gift it is ... *grin*

(p.s maybe i should get a pinky dolly to help me sleep .... but then again, maybe no .... i have seen way too many horror movies involving toys (remember chucky) ... who could know if pink dolly pisa comes alive at night and attempts to strangle or stab u to death ..... *wink* .. juz remember to sleep with one eye open ... )

dante,
yabba...poetic language, ah! and my pisa is a good pisa, not like others! ;)
i remember my favourite entertainment when i got the doll new was to shake her whole body until she looked like one of the 'paei pudicha' things...and it sure did look scary to see the doll sitting when you just tossed around in your sleep and saw her! :-S

i juz sorta realised i might have come across as way too boastful in my last comment .... guess i have done it again ... stuck my big, fat foot in my wide, open mouth .... *grin*

Dante,
Bah! 2 days without sleep - if I'd been in the army for 2 years, I should've done that too! ;)
Still, complement you for the feat!
